Area school rankings

The following are rankings given to northeast Indiana schools under the state's accountability law, Public Law 221. Schools are assigned letter grades based on student participation and performance on standardized tests. Students' growth compared to their peers and college and career readiness measures were added to this year's system. Beginning in the 2010-2011 school year, the grades replaced a ranking system that placed schools into categories.
The rankings are A (exemplary), B (commendable), C (academic progress), D (academic watch) and F (probation).
